Nationals of the USA, Canada, the UK and most countries within the British Commonwealth do not require visas to visit the Cayman Islands. Citizens of Jamaica, Honduras and the Philippines, for example, do. However, if you are coming to Cayman on an approved Work Permit then you do not need to go through the Visitor's Visa process. Even if you are a national of one of the countries listed below, you will NOT require a visa to enter the Cayman Islands if you are not a prohibited immigrant** and you can satisfy an Immigration Officer on arrival in the Cayman Islands that you are:

If you would normally need a visa for the Cayman Islands as you hold a passport from either Jamaica, India or China and you do not possess a work permit, nor work for the Cayman Islands Government, then you can come to the Cayman Islands without a Cayman visa if you already have a current visa from Canada, the USA or the UK. However you must be travelling directly from the country, (USA, UK or Canada wherever you hold the visa,) to Cayman and you can only stay up to a maximum of thirty days.
However, you must travel directly from one of those countries to Cayman. This applies to cruise passengers as well.
Where visas are required, they must be sought and obtained prior to travel.
